Teaching Personnel are currently working with a school based in Stoke-on-Trent who are looking for a Learning Support Assistant to start part-time in January. This role is to support a number of pupils with varying SEN needs. About the role: Start-date: 5th January Ongoing until the end of the academic year As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work alongside a group of support staff with students who require additional learning, behavioural, and social/emotional support. This will include both 1-1 and small group intervention. You will work closely with class Teachers to create and implement individualised learning support plans, so all students have access to the national curriculum at any level. What we’re looking for: Experience working with young people is necessary Knowledge/experience with SEN is desirable A passion for working with young people A calm, patient and empathetic approach to behaviour management If you’re interested in this role, please apply with your CV and a consultant will be in contact within 2 working days.
