Secondary Graduate Teaching Assistant - Role Overview Provide targeted academic support to students across KS3 and KS4 in your specialist subject. Lead one‑to‑one and small group interventions to boost progress and attainment. Support teachers in preparing engaging lessons and delivering classroom activities. Promote a positive learning environment by assisting with behaviour management. Offer tailored support to students with additional needs, including SEN and EAL. Contribute to extra‑curricular clubs, enrichment activities, and school‑wide events. Secondary Graduate Teaching Assistant - Candidate Profile A 2:1 or above degree from a Russell Group university (English, Maths, Science, Humanities, or Languages desirable). A genuine passion for secondary education and long‑term interest in teaching. Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills. Adaptable, enthusiastic, and resilient when supporting young learners. Previous experience with teenagers (tutoring, mentoring, youth projects) is an advantage.
