Property & Casualty Underwriter at Allianz UK Salary: Circa £40,000 per year. Pay is based on relevant experience, skills for the role, and location. About you: As our P&C Underwriter, you’ll handle general customers’ queries via telephone and in writing, underwrite existing cases, process mid-term adjustments, handle internal claims and account queries, negotiate within authority, anticipate likely objections and build effective responses. Job duties: Building strong relationships with brokers, negotiating effectively, offering renewal terms before deadlines, thorough checking and issuing of renewal documents, learning about different areas of the business, supporting wider teams, providing suggestions to continuously improve the business. Qualifications: Passion about development, initiative within a team, verbal and written communication, attention to detail, good analytical skills, good decision-making skills, existing CII qualification or commitment to progressing towards CII, supportive team player, full working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook.
