Electrical Supervisor

Purpose of the Role To oversee and manage a team of electricians on a number of programmes across the South East region. The Role Permanent full‑time position (40 hrs per week), paid hourly with overtime. Travel time paid door‑to‑door. Company van provided with fuel card. Responsibilities Supervise electrical installations in accordance with BS7671 and Bridges Health & Safety Rules. Ensure installations meet project quality plan and inspection & test plans. Promote and actively use the STAR dynamic risk assessment, stopping work if unsafe circumstances arise. Coach and mentor electricians, improvers, mates, and apprentices. Promote Bridges values when dealing with peers, staff, customers, and clients. Promote positive health and well‑being among peers. Represent Bridges professionally, supporting business goals and maintaining the company's positive reputation. Requirements (Essential) ECS gold card. SSSTS/SMSTS. Experience as an Electrical Supervisor managing electrical projects. Experience within water / heavy industrial industries. Appropriate City & Guilds trade qualification. Fit‑to‑work medical (may be completed upon starting employment). Desirable PASMA/IPAF. Confined space training. COMPEX. EUSR water hygiene. Thames Water passport.
