We are open to speaking with Principal/Senior or Experienced Overhead Line Design Engineers to explore future opportunities with our Transmission & Distribution team. Roles are based in UK offices.ResponsibilitiesDeliver a wide range of OHL projects, producing and reviewing technical documents in line with industry standards.Develop design criteria, conductor selection, structure type selection, insulation coordination and lightning performance.Develop typical OHL design deliverables including line schedules, plan/profile drawings, staking tables and special crossings design.Conduct feasibility studies to assess technical and economic viability of proposed projects.Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (e.g., civil, structural) to ensure overall project integrity.Contribute to OHL delivery and workload management across multiple projects.We are at an important phase of growth for Stantec's Energy team. More information on Stantec’s Energy & Resources Division can be found at Stantec Energy Transition - UK.QualificationsYou ideally hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural or Civil Engineering, or have relevant industry experience from a hands-on/construction pathway.
