HGV Technician Nuneaton Service

Basic: £18 p/h. Late shift allowance and KPI bonus availability.Preferably shifts but can offer permanent days.Your RoleAs a HGV Technician for Rygor Auto, your role will be to keep our customers’ vehicles on the road, via quality, safe and compliant maintenance.Being part of Team Rygor is about being experts in what we do. We are committed to investing in your career and skill set, so when you join our technical team, you will benefit from Mercedes-Benz training and online H&S e-learnings.You must be Level 3 in HGV Vehicle Repair and Maintenance qualified and obtain current and full UK driving licence for the relevant vehicle classes.Day to day, you will be:Performing major and minor repairs to trucks, and other vehicles including breakdowns.Performing regular inspections, general preventive maintenance and services.Maintaining inventory in the workshop and cleanliness from oil spills and dust.Working with repair teams to help diagnose and plan repairs for the vehicles.Maintaining records of vehicles that have been repaired or handled.Providing repair services to clients on the road in case of emergencies.Completing relevant documentation and paperwork as required and providing warranty claims or escalating them to higher management.Providing in-house training to recruits and trainees.Skills & Behaviours Required for this Role:Resilience: A resilient person is someone who has strong coping skills and can draw on these when life presents challenges.Motivation: To ensure personal and team success, being motivated is essential and is a key part of leadership.Attention to Detail: Precision in diagnosing issues and conducting repairs to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.Time Management: Ability to prioritize and complete tasks within timeframes to meet customer demands and maintain workshop efficiency.Our Values & BehavioursWe’re looking for incredible team members who share our values and can add to our culture.
