Overview Pharmacy Manager – Ipswich Nuffield Health Ipswich Hospital | Pharmacy | Permanent Contract | Full-time Up to £60k depending on experience. £3,000 Golden Hello Available. As the Pharmacy Manager, you will play a critical role in this mission by ensuring the delivery and optimisation of pharmacy services across our hospital site in Ipswich. Key Responsibilities Leadership: Manage and motivate the pharmacy team to deliver high-quality care. Coordination: Plan and allocate resources effectively, presenting business cases as necessary. Medicines Management: Act as the Medicines Management Lead and Medical Gas Lead, ensuring safe and effective use of medicines. Governance: Lead the implementation of the medicines optimisation governance framework. Compliance: Ensure adherence to policies, legal and regulatory requirements, and national standards. Quality Improvement: Drive quality improvement projects and strategic initiatives. Cost Efficiency: Identify and implement cost-saving measures and service efficiencies. Audit and Reporting: Adhere to the medicines audit framework and manage incident reporting. Qualifications and Experience Registration: Must be registered with the GPhC as a pharmacist or pharmacy technician. Clinical Pharmacy Services: Proven experience in clinical pharmacy. Management: Previous experience in managing a team. Desirable: Postgraduate clinical pharmacy qualification or equivalent experience. Benefits Healthcare: Free private healthcare.
