Day rate: £500 umbrella (inside IR35)
Job Purpose
We are currently recruiting for an experienced OD Manager to join a busy HR team within a large public sector organisation. This is an exciting opportunity to lead key organisational development projects focused on talent development, employee engagement, and recognition initiatives.
This role will play a central part in delivering a modern and inclusive people strategy, ensuring staff feel valued, supported, and motivated to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead on the design and delivery of OD initiatives aligned with organisational goals and values.
Oversee performance management, engagement, and staff recognition programmes, including awards and pulse surveys.
Review and improve the performance appraisal process, including related systems, data, and capability development.
Support directorates with workforce planning, organisational design, and bespoke OD interventions.
Develop and monitor OD metrics and engagement data to inform continuous improvement.
Provide expert advice and guidance to managers and senior leaders on OD best practice.
Collaborate with HR, L&D, and Change colleagues to deliver joined-up and effective people solutions.
Manage an OD budget and ensure projects deliver measurable outcomes and value for money.Candidate Profile
