We have been serving Royal Navy and Royal Marines veterans and their dependants for over 70 years. Our residents and staff enjoy a varied yet familiar way of life to encourage independence and give each day meaning and purpose. The home has a ‘family run’ feel and we have carefully created a supportive, friendly and close knit team, making it a unique and very special place to work.Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:Ensuring that residents are at the heart of care delivery and that their wishes and preferences enhance their wellbeingContributing to the efficient running of the homeSupporting residents to maintain their relationships and connections with the local communityEnsuring that Care Plans and other information about how to support our residents are followedTo be responsible for informing the Senior Carer/Nurse of any changes in the needs of the residentDeveloping effective working relationships with other employees at Pembroke House and across the TrustWorking with members of the multidisciplinary teams to maximise opportunities for the residentsIf desired by the resident, to maintain and develop relationships with family, friends and other important people in their lifeThe full job description is available on request.The PersonThis role would suit someone who is naturally dependable, compassionate and trustworthy.
