Experienced Support Assistant – Bromley

Age Range: 3–19 years
Start Date: January 2026
ANZUK is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Assistant to join a specialist school in Bromley, supporting children and young people with severe learning difficulties and disabilities. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of students aged 3–19 years.
The Role
* Provide tailored support to children with complex needs in both classroom and individual settings
* Assist with learning activities, personal care, and communication development
* Work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure each child thrives
* Promote independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour management
Requirements
* Previous experience supporting children or young people with severe learning difficulties and disabilities
* Ideally hold Team Teach or positive restraint training (training can be provided if needed)
* Strong communication skills and a patient, empathetic approach
* Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
