Technical Advisor - Monitoring and Data Systems Team - 32406 Posted 2 days ago. We are looking for an experienced Technical Officer to manage environmental monitoring systems and datasets. The role primarily involves our Water Quality systems but also supports other systems as needed. Key responsibilities include: Set up and manage user accounts Support users and resolve issues, particularly during the transition to the new My Environment application Update, improve, and maintain data sets Respond to internal and external data requests Support system improvement and upgrade projects Complete mandatory training and participate in incident response duties Required experience and skills: Experience working with large complex datasets Willingness to develop and learn new technical skills across monitoring data and systems Motivated, organised, friendly and helpful with attention to detail Proactive problem‑solving attitude Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to convey complex technical information to both technical and non‑technical audiences Ability to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver excellent customer service Desirable skills: Experience managing environmental monitoring data systems Experience with PowerBI, Access, Excel, Python, SharePoint Online and R Working knowledge of water quality monitoring Location & Working Work location is flexible, but a base at one of our England offices is required. Hybrid home/office working is available with some travel for meetings.
