Plating Technician I 4th Shift

We are in search of a highly motivated candidate to join our talented Team.Job Title: Plating Technician I 4th ShiftLocation: Lincoln, NH.JOB SUMMARY:Responsible for: Operates assigned equipment used in executing metal finishing operations by performing the following duties.Roles & Responsibilities:Loads and unloads tote pans of parts, stacks parts in baskets, racks and/or barrels, racks, unracks, cleans, etches, desmuts, pickles, brightdips dyes, degreases, heat treats, plates, coats, wet processes, and dries parts. Uses electric hoists and manual lifting.Following prescribed procedures for processing.Fills baskets, racks, and/or barrels with parts to be processed and lowers material into the appropriate tank.Remove parts when the process is completed.Maintains the cleanliness of tanks and work areas.Monitors the temperature of solutions.Maintains daily production logs.Physically inspects processing to ensure the quality of the product.May be required to perform general utility work, material handling, assist with chemical handling and solution maintenance, and record keeping as needed.May be asked to troubleshoot simple to moderate problems.Is responsible for the quality of the product produced.Performs other duties as required.Required Qualifications:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate and percent.REASONING ABILITY:Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
