OverviewFlexible Worker Contract • Location: RemoteWe’re seeking an experienced Chief Moderator to oversee the moderation of the following qualification on a flexible worker contract: NCFE Level 1/2 Technical Award in Graphic Design (603/7011/7).The purpose of moderation is to check that centres are correctly and consistently assessing student work and that the materials submitted for moderation meet the required standard. As Chief Moderator you'll be expected to judge the accuracy and validity of the provider and moderators assessment decisions by continuously analysing data and evidence which forms part of the quality process to ensure qualification and regulatory compliance. Our moderation will begin in March 2026 and end in August 2026.How You\'ll Make An ImpactRecruiting, training and performance managing a team of Moderators across the relevant sector areaEnsuring that quality assurance and moderation is delivered in line with qualification and customer requirementsEnsuring the moderation team remains compliant with all regulatory conditions relating to moderation of centre assessmentsCoordinating the day to day activities of the moderation team throughout the moderation windowQualifications and ExperienceA minimum of a level 3 qualification in the graphic design subject areaEvidence of at least 3 years working within the graphic design sectorQualifications in assessment and internal quality assuranceKnowledge and management of moderation processesExperience managing a team of moderatorsExcellent report writing skillsWhy Work as a Flexible Worker for NCFE?Our flexible workforce provides supportive quality assurance to ensure that learners taking NCFE qualifications are getting the best education possible.
