Overview We are seeking a compassionate, confident and proactive Behaviour Mentor to join a welcoming primary school in Ealing. This role involves providing one-to-one support to a Year 6 pupil, helping them to engage positively in school life, regulate emotions, and reach their full potential both socially and academically. Key Responsibilities Provide consistent 1:1 behaviour and emotional support to a Year 6 child Build a trusting, supportive relationship that promotes confidence and resilience Implement behaviour strategies and personalised support plans Work closely with class teachers, the SENCO and pastoral staff Encourage positive learning habits and engagement in lessons Support with de-escalation, emotional regulation and problem-solving About You Experience supporting children with behavioural, social or emotional needs (school, youth work or similar settings) Calm, patient and empathetic approach Strong communication and relationship‑building skills Ability to set clear boundaries and be a positive role model Reliable, committed, and passionate about helping children thrive The School Offers A friendly, supportive staff team Ongoing guidance from senior leadership and pastoral teams Opportunities for training and development A rewarding role where you can make a real difference every day Contract Details Location: Ealing Role: Behaviour Mentor (1:1, Year 6) Start: Immediate or ASAP Hours: Full-time, term-time If you are dedicated, nurturing and ready to support a child who would benefit from your guidance, we'd love to hear from you.
