OverviewAs a Financial Planning Consultant you will develop relationships with customers, ensuring they receive the highest levels of service and act as a high quality initial point of contact during fact finding meetings.You will receive quality referrals thanks to close relationships with branch colleagues and head office in Skipton. You must demonstrate commercial focus, apply clear risk management and quality controls while working with branch teams, head office teams and financial advice colleagues to partially deliver first meetings with new customers, including conversations on pensions, investments, inheritance tax and our current proposition.ResponsibilitiesPrepare customers for follow‑on first meeting with the Financial Adviser, ensuring all information is gathered and entered onto Focus.Engage customers, help them understand objectives, money goals and motivations for taking financial advice.Support customers/advisers in a previous role, fully Diploma qualified (or part qualified).Maintain strict quality and compliance standards, organisation skills and work efficiently in a high volume fast‑paced environment.Adapt to change, pick up new systems, processes and technology with ease.QualificationsFull or part qualified for the Regulated Diploma in Financial Advice.Experience supporting customers/advisers in a previous role.Strong communication skills, passion for excellent customer service and ability to build relationships face‑to‑face or via video links.Self‑motivated, capable of working independently and thrive on being part of a successful team.Location & Working ArrangementsBased in or around Coventry, the role will initially be working from home. When progressed to a Financial Adviser role you will have the flexibility to cover some face‑to‑face meetings within branches.BenefitsFull support and training will be given.
