Job Summary SEN Teaching Assistant : Secondary (Term Time Only) Are you a compassionate and dedicated Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding role supporting secondary students with Special Educational Needs on the autism spectrum or other communication and learning difficulties? We are seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our specialist day school near Norwich (NR16 2NZ). This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a highly supportive environment where you can truly make a difference in the lives of young people. Key Benefits Small Class Sizes: Maximum of 10 students per class, supported by a minimum of 3 staff at all times. Supportive Team: Work alongside teachers and a full onsite clinical and therapy team. Focus: Create an enabling environment that encourages students to engage with their social and academic surroundings. Key Duties Include Establishing a warm and supportive relationship with pupils to promote wellbeing and engagement. Supporting the Class Teacher in the day‑to‑day running of the classroom and delivering differentiated activities. Promoting independence, personal development, and maintaining high expectations of behaviour. Collaborating effectively within a multi‑professional team. Salary and Hours Actual Annual Salary: GBP 22,906 – GBP 23,621 (dependent on experience/qualifications) Hourly Rate: GBP 12.82 – GBP 13.22 per hour Hours: 40 hours per week Working Pattern: Term Time only Schedule: Mon, Tue, Wed (8:30am – 4:30pm), Thu (8:30am – 5:00pm), Fri (8:30am – 4:00pm) Start Date: As soon as possible Application Apply now if you are a motivated and skilled Level 2 Teaching Assistant ready to start a new position quickly.
