Compensation and Hours

Monday to Friday

Hours of work:

Monday to Thursday: 8.00am to 5.00pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Friday: 8.00am to 2.00pm with no lunch break
(These hours are fixed and non-variable)

Hourly rate: £16.31 per hour until June 2026, equivalent to £34,000 per annum
Overtime rate: 1.5 x hourly rate for any hours worked above 40 per week

The Opportunity

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Panel Wirer to join our team in Nottingham. This is a stable permanent role with consistent hours, offering the chance to work on a wide range of low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels.

The Company

The business designs and manufactures low voltage distribution switchgear and control panels, producing both standard and bespoke systems for a range of clients.

Role Overview
You will be responsible for wiring and assembling control panels in line with engineering drawings. The work involves a mix of standard and bespoke panels, so the ability to accurately interpret schematics and work to precise specifications is essential.

Reading and working from schematic and engineering drawings
Wiring, looming, and assembling control panels
Fitting units to specification
