Falcon Green is working with an award-winning, innovative contractor known for delivering complex, large-scale industrial projects across mainland Europe. Right now, they're looking for an ambitious and hands-on Electrical Engineer to join their growing team on a high-spec Data Centre project. This is a great opportunity for someone who's technically strong, proactive, and keen to build a long-term career in the Data Centre space. You'll be joining a supportive team and working with a top-tier client that's big on training and internal progression. On top of a solid salary, there's a generous benefits package that includes a living-away allowance, monthly flights, travel, accommodation, and healthcare. Electrical Engineer Responsibilities: Maintaining clear and accurate reporting will be vital for tracking progress and keeping the project team aligned with key deadlines. Review Design/IFC specs and drawings to clearly understand the full scope of works. Lead the coordination process to develop accurate installation drawings, working with BIM personnel to ensure compliance and meet schedule requirements. Support quality oversight on-site, ensuring all works meet the required technical and regulatory standards. Review subcontractor and supplier tenders to check they meet the project's technical and design requirements. Ensure engineering activities, including procurement, stay on track with the project timeline. Ensure all technical submittals are properly prepared, submitted, and approved in line with project requirements. Make sure all installations follow project specs and the QA plan. Coordinate subcontractor efforts to ensure timely progress and clear communication. Keep records of weekly meetings. Encourage embracing new practices that drive improvements in project scheduling and delivery. Coordinate with the Project Quantity Surveyor to compile and prepare tender documentation for subcontractors and suppliers. Electrical Engineer Requirements: You will have a minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in the Electrical contracting industry with a recognised company. You will have strong organizational abilities and expertise in project planning. You will have strong skills in negotiation, finding solutions, and making good calls. You will have experience in using Navisworks and engineering-related database systems. You will be comfortable working with Project/Primavera software and familiar with CAD/BIM workflows.
