TeacherActive is proud to be working with schools in Hull, supporting with their recruitment for a Learning Support Assistants / LSA. Our main priority is pupil’s development, as well as an intrinsic desire to make progress both academically and with their own emotional, social and behavioural skills.
The schools are seeking passionate team players, although there is potential for this to become a long-term placement for the right Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA. The successful Learning Support Assistant / LSA will bring a new dimension and skill set to this role, be keen to develop their own skills to adapt to the children’s individual needs and have a positive impact on the wider school.
The successful Learning Support Assistant / SEND LSA will have:
Experience working with children with additional needs / disabilities
Experience working with students with Social Emotional Mental Health (SEMH) and challenging behaviours
Team-Teach or MAPA qualifications desirable but not essential
