A Headteacher at a warm and nurturing primary school in Preston is looking for a dedicated Year 1/2 Teacher to join their team as soon as possible on a permanent basis. Small class sizes: 8 pupils per class with 2 TAs

The Ideal Candidate Will Be:

A strong team player with excellent behaviour management

Experienced or confident working with pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs

*

Skilled in de-escalation and maintaining a calm, consistent approach

*

Child-centred, nurturing and able to build positive, trusting relationships

*

Adaptable, resilient and emotionally robust

*

Skilled in delivering differentiated and personalised learning to meet EHCP targets

*

Confident in EYFS practice and able to apply it to early primary learners

*

A clear and confident communicator with staff, parents and external professionals
