OverviewDriver Hire Stockport are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 2 (Cat C) Drivers to work for a variety of our clients across the SK postcode. We have work available Monday through to Friday; we ask that you are flexible with the days and hours you can work but we can also work around your availability. The start times vary depending on the client but usually between 5am-8am starts.ResponsibilitiesDriving HGV Class 2 vehicle responsibly and safely, obeying all traffic laws.Carrying out required daily vehicle checks to ensure procedural compliance.Maintaining regular contact with Branch Managers on daily progress.Completing paperwork accurately as instructed.Assist with loading and unloading the vehicle when necessary.Client RequirementsA Valid Cat C Licence (HGV Class 2)A Valid CPC CardA Valid Digital Tacho Card6 months of relevant driving experience (Preferred)No more than 6 points (No DD\'s, DR\'s, IN\'s, TT\'s endorsements)Pay ratesPAID WEEKLY VIA PAYE£16.47ph - Minimum 8 hours paid£22.05ph - Paid after 8 hoursThis rate of pay has holidays accrual included within the hourly rate; if you wish to accrue these separately then this rate will become £14.70ph and £19.68ph overtime.If you are interested in this opportunity then please call our office on 0161 428 9928 (from Monday- Friday, between 8am-5pm) to speak to a member of our friendly team about this position.
