As an Environmental Advisor you will play a key role in supporting a significant, high-profile Civil Engineering project that utilises unique construction methods never seen before here in the UK ensuring compliance, driving sustainability initiatives, and protecting the unique coastal and marine environment. Environmental Advisor £40,000-£47,500 + £4,700 Car Allowance + 15% Project Uplift + 15% Pension + Package - Civil Engineering East Anglia ID: (phone number removed) What s In It For You? Salary up to £47,500 15% Project Uplift £4,700 Car Allowance or Company Car + Fuel Card Up to 15% Pension Scheme 15% Discretionary Bonus 25 days Annual Leave + Bank Holidays (with the option to buy more) Life Assurance Policy Funding for qualifications Membership fees for 1 professional body Key responsibilities include: Providing expert environmental advice on ecology, pollution prevention, and sustainability. Developing and implementing environmental management and sustainability plans. Managing permits and licences, including MMO and ecology mitigation. Carrying out audits, inspections, and incident investigations. Delivering toolbox talks, training, and stakeholder engagement. Supporting innovation in marine and civil engineering methods. What we re looking for NEBOSH Environmental Certificate (Minimum) Degree in Environmental Science/Management/Engineering (Ideally). Strong knowledge of environmental legislation and practical compliance. Hands‑on experience in construction or infrastructure projects (marine experience highly desirable).
