SEND Teaching Assistant£425 – £500 per week depending on experienceConnex Education are seeking a SENDTeaching Assistant to work in a Secondary Academy school located in Bury, Greater Manchester.About the SchoolThis School is an educational provision for pupils aged 11-16 years. All pupils have an Education Health & Care Plan and have been excluded from mainstream school.The schools has a bespoke timetable of social and emotional development, mental health well-being and academic progression. They create a calm and engaging environment where pupils progress. Inspiring every young person to fulfil their true potential by creating a learning environments that are innovative, motivational and impactful on pupils lives.Assignment detailsFull time with a view for a Long term placement from SeptemberMonday-Friday 5 days a weekPerson specificationExperience of supporting children and young people struggle to manage their emotions, behaviour, and relationships, which can impact their learning and overall well-being Be able to get to know pupils and get a good understanding of needs.Experience working with SEND such as Autism and ADHDExcellent communication skills, Empathetic and Patient , being self-regulated and calm.
