To support the Clinical Nurse Manager/Matron in the maintenance and development of administrative services by providing a high level reliable and confidential personal assistant service. The primary purpose of the role is to alleviate the administrative workload of the management team within Specialty Services. The post holder will also proactively identify any areas of improvement and development of administrative and clerical support systems and procedures, consistent with a modern, professional mental health service.To work with managers to ensure that all Key Performance Indicators are monitored, actively chasing any anomalies and correcting; collating statistics as required. To ensure that all information needs for the service area are robust and that data in inputted in an accurate and timely manner.Diary management is a key part of the role, using relevant systems to ensure the Clinical Nurse Manager and Matron have well‑organised schedules and relevant papers in a timely manner. The ability to prioritise is a must as there will be pressure to complete several tasks with strict timescales. The Fundamental (Statutory and Mandatory) training will be in an e‑learning format.
