You’ll be responsible for working with stakeholders from across the business to identify the problems we should really try to solve and devising and delivering solutions through the full lifecycle as part of a cross-functional Agile delivery team. On a daily basis you’ll be capturing and refining requirements, decomposing them into user stories and prioritising them as part of the product backlog.You’ll also be contributing to a range of product activities - from team practice and process improvement to supporting the development of our strategy.ResponsibilitiesThe role holder will be responsible for:Conduct gap analysis between incoming and target platforms, collaborating with sales, marketing, and development to quantify gaps and recommend solutions.Own the development phase by writing user stories and acceptance criteria to optimize resource use and meet customer expectations.Support the migration phase through cohort analysis and customer impact assessment with Sales, and coordinate with marketing, support, and engineering for successful migrations.Assist with customer support escalations by acting as a platform expert to address queries and assess change requests, rapidly creating user stories as needed.Representing customer needs:Act as the "voice of the customer" within an Agile software team.Defining & managing requirements:Ensure the team has well-defined and organized requirements that address customer needs.Groom and manage the backlog, decompose and estimate user stories with engineers.Lead requirements gathering for high-level needs, breaking them into epics and tasks.Gather feedback on solutions and refine accordingly, providing daily support to the team for queries.Create collateral to enhance the user experience and represent technical input in prioritisation sessions.Foster collaboration for effective problem solving.Supporting & coordinating delivery:Document software changes and release notes, and accept completed user stories before release.Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate changes essential for successful delivery.Oversee the end-to-end delivery of software developments across the business and assist in building product roadmaps.Promote and contribute to the continuous improvement of product practices.Experience:EssentialExperience of working as a product owner in an Agile team and all Agile ceremoniesStakeholder management and leading requirements gatheringWorking with software-based products, ideally in a SaaS environment through full-lifecycle deliveryDelivering business process change as part of software deliveryUsing empirical methods to support decision makingStrong consumer knowledge and awareness of mobile technologyExcellent written and verbal communication to both technical and non-technical audiencesAbility to articulate and communicate a vision; and bringing those around on boardSuperb organisation and diligence; able to manage multiple priorities and pick out the critical detailDesirableDelivering software for international markets and working with international stakeholdersExposure to techniques such as user story mapping, persona generation, user testingCollating data on product performanceUse of JIRA, Confluence and Google AnalyticsBenefits:Competitive Salary (£55 - 60,000)Flexible hybrid working27 days annual leave plus national holidays.Enhance family leaveEnjoy your Birthday off - because it's your dayMental Health Support through our Wellbeing partner, CalmWellbeing leave and a Mental Health First Aider programGiving back days to help support causes close to your heartUnlimited professional & personal learningTotal Rewards including retirement planning, healthcare and life assuranceAnd did we mention our epic team socials?
