They're looking for a skilled CNC Sliding Head Programmer/Setter/Operator with experience on managing Star machines (other sliding experience considered) to join their growing team. You’ll be producing high-precision components across a range of projects and have the opportunity to develop across other turning platforms — including single/twin spindle and turret machines. For the right person, there’s a clear path into a Shopfloor Lead / Manager role as the business continues to grow. The Role Managing, setting and operating sliding head lathes, with the option to working on other twin spindle, or twin turret lathes. Working from engineering drawings to tight tolerances. Optimising programs for quality, efficiency, and cycle time. Occasional support across other CNC turning machines. Working Hours Flexible Double Day shifts - pick what suits you best: Days: Mon - Thur, or Mon - Fri early finish. Lates: Mon - Thur, or Mon - Fri early finish.
