The role will support research, identify, and implement the acquisition growth strategy of the business. We seek a self-motivated individual with strong analytical skills, commercial acumen, and a proven track record of delivering successful outcomes. This position will directly impact growth and strategy implementation. The M&A Analyst will support the identification, evaluation, and execution of acquisition opportunities aligned with the organisation's strategic growth plan. Working closely with the Commercial Director and teams, this role involves supporting the full transaction lifecycle, from market scanning and deal origination to financial modelling, due diligence, deal execution, and post-acquisition review. It is a pivotal role in a high-growth organisation with a strong acquisition pipeline and ambitious expansion goals over the next 5-10 years.Key Responsibilities:Conduct commercial and financial research and analysis on potential acquisition targets.Support the preparation of investment papers for the Capital Committee.Assist with development of financial models and valuation analysis for acquisition decisions.Assist in the due diligence process, working with legal, operational, and finance teams.Prepare acquisition case analysis and risk assessments for senior leadership.Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform M&A strategy.Support post-deal integration planning and reviews.Support analysis for wider Commercial functions, such as tenders or development opportunities.Provide strategic financial analysis to support business initiatives and stakeholder queries.Candidate Requirements:Preferably AAT qualified or with 2 years' experience in a similar role.Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including financial modelling.Strong commercial judgment and experience assessing investment opportunities.Experience in financial analysis.Clear and confident communication skills, verbal and written.Ability to manage workload and prioritize tasks.High attention to detail and accuracy.Ability to handle multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders and external advisors.Previous experience in M&A, transaction services, corporate finance, or investment banking is preferred.Experience in healthcare or social care is advantageous but not essential.Degree educated with a strong academic record.Benefits:25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.Employee discount app for retail and leisure discounts.Funded Blue Light Card with discounts at retailers and restaurants.Enhanced family leave policies.Access to free 24/7 external counselling services.Wagestream app for pay withdrawal as earned.Pension scheme and life assurance.Long service awards.Refer a friend bonuses.Comprehensive induction and ongoing training. #J-18808-Ljbffr
