Senior Legal Counsel – NBCUniversal, London, United Kingdom Job Description We are seeking a Senior Legal Counsel to provide comprehensive legal support to Hayu, our first all‑reality subscription video‑on‑demand service. The role spans drafting and negotiating agreements, monitoring regulatory developments, and advising on commercial initiatives across software, digital technology, and marketing. Overview This role delivers legal expertise to internal clients and represents the interests of Hayu and NBCUniversal across contracts, regulatory compliance, and strategic growth initiatives. Responsibilities Draft and negotiate agreements for software, digital technology, and technical services, ensuring alignment with privacy laws. Oversee legal support for the marketing team, including agency, sponsorship, and influencer agreements. Provide counsel on strategic initiatives such as price increases and new product features, articulating legal implications. Draft and negotiate agreements with commercial distribution partners, including MVPDs, device manufacturers and OTT services. Attend routine meetings with internal clients and participate in broader NBCU legal team events. Qualifications 5+ years PQE as a UK‑qualified lawyer, with grounding in commercial law. Experience drafting and negotiating agreements for digital technology, marketing tech, and software services. Familiarity with marketing and/or consumer law. Strong drafting, negotiation, and attention to detail skills. Excellent written and verbal communication; proactive, organized, and able to manage a fast‑moving workload. Computer literate (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); knowledge of AI legal implications a bonus.
