Triage & Early Interventions Officer We have an exciting opportunity to join the team in North Wales working 37.5 hours per week. Conversing in Welsh is desirable. About the Role This role is based in the Victim Help Centre, St Asaph, North Wales and works in liaison with local police and other agencies. You will contact victims by telephone to conduct comprehensive needs assessments and commission services. You will refer victims to partner agencies, manage immediate service needs, contribute to risk assessment processes, and record all contact securely. Responsibilities Contact victims by telephone to undertake a comprehensive needs assessment. Commission a range of services to support identified needs. Refer victims to partner agencies and contact approved suppliers to deliver services. Direct referrals to appropriate colleagues to allocate Victim Support workers for further support. Identify and manage victims’ immediate service needs. Contribute towards risk assessment processes and follow agreed safe contact processes. Record all contact securely. Qualifications & Experience Level 4 Welsh Language skills and ability to communicate fluently in Welsh is desirable. Experience working in a client‑facing role within a support environment.
