Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor that has previously worked in a fast-paced distribution centre environment as a Supervisor or Team Leader in the Goods In team to join our busy client in Luton. This role will start off as a 12 week temp role on Interaction Recruitment's payroll. Once the initial 12 weeks are complete the successful candidate will join our client on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract. Depending on circumstances the role may become full-time (this cannot be guaranteed currently).

The Working Hours: Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00

Pay Rate: £14.50 per hour + Holiday

This role involves:

  1. Safely receive products, including returns
  2. Check against delivery notes / Purchase Orders
  3. Book in and put away
  4. Oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient workflows in Goods In area
  5. Leading the team, fostering a collaborative and high performing culture
  6. Drive Health & Safety initiatives and ensure compliance
  7. Maintain stock accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly
  8. Train, develop and support the team
  9. Communicate across departments and external stakeholders

To be considered for this role you must have / be:

  1. Previous experience working within a Goods In Team Leader or Supervisor role
  2. A Reach / Counterbalance forklift licence
  3. Proven experience in warehouse operations and leadership
  4. Strong Health & Safety knowledge and a track record of safe practices
  5. Strong experience using Warehouse Management Systems
  6. Strong problem solving and communication skills
  7. Hands-on leadership style with a focus on collaboration
  8. Physical ability to manage warehouse activities (standing, lifting up to 20kg)
