Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Solicitor to join a highly regarded Employment Law team in London. About the Firm My client is a well-established, Legal 500-recognised firm with a leading Employment department that advises a wide range of commercial and private clients. The team combines technical expertise with a commercial and pragmatic approach, offering both contentious and non-contentious advice at the highest level. Responsibilities Advise employer clients on the full spectrum of employment law issues Handle contentious and non-contentious matters, including Employment Tribunal claims Support corporate transactions with due diligence and TUPE advice Draft and review employment contracts, staff handbooks, consultancy agreements, NDAs, and settlement agreements Advise on reorganisations, disciplinaries, grievances, and day-to-day HR issues Manage cases involving employment status, redundancy, and restrictive covenants Provide clear, commercial advice to clients and work autonomously with partner support Contribute to business development and client relationship management Requirements Qualified Solicitor with 3-8 years' PQE in Employment Law Experience advising employers (experience with senior employees also beneficial) Strong academic background and high-quality training Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment work Practical knowledge of the Employment Tribunal process Excellent drafting, communication, and negotiation skills Self-motivated, proactive, and commercially minded Team player with strong interpersonal skills and client relationship focus Confident, professional, and discreet in all client dealings IT literate with a practical working knowledge of digital tools and case management systems Benefits Competitive market-rate salary 25 days' annual leave 4x Life Assurance Permanent Health Insurance BUPA Medical Insurance & Medicash Cashplan Scheme Bluecrest Health Assessment Unum Dental Scheme Auto-enrolment in the firm's Group Personal Pension Scheme Discretionary Bonus Scheme & Introduction Bonus Scheme Interest-free Season Ticket Loan (after 3 months) Cycle to Work Scheme Holiday Purchase option Wellbeing Programme Gymflex membership If you're an Employment Solicitor looking to work on high-quality matters within a leading London firm, apply today.
