Year 3 Classroom Teaching Assistant Location: Holbrooks, CV6 Weekly Rate: £460 - £500 per week Start Date: ASAP Hours: Full Time - 8:30am to 3:30pm (Term Time Only) Contract: Long Term with potential for Permanent Long Term Futures are supporting a friendly and inclusive primary school in Holbrooks (CV6) who are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their Year 3 team. This is a long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right person. The school are looking for someone enthusiastic, proactive and committed to helping children make progress both academically and socially. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons, provide small group and individual support, and help create a positive, inclusive learning environment. While this role is mainly focused on classroom-based support, there will also be opportunities to assist pupils with mild additional needs, ensuring they can access learning confidently and feel supported throughout the day. The Role: Support the Year 3 class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils where required Assist with classroom organisation, preparation of resources, and learning displays Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and pupil engagement Work collaboratively with the SENCo and wider staff team to meet pupil needs Contribute to a warm, nurturing, and well-structured classroom environment The Ideal Candidate: Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) preferred Experience supporting children within a primary classroom setting Awareness or understanding of SEN support strategies is desirable Patient, adaptable, and positive attitude with strong teamwork skills Passionate about promoting pupil progress and wellbeing Must hold a valid DBS and provide two satisfactory references About the School: Ofsted-rated 'Good' primary with a strong community ethos Supportive leadership team who value staff well-being Committed to inclusive practice and high-quality teaching Well-resourced classrooms and access to outdoor learning opportunities Easily accessible location with on-site parking If you're a caring, enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who loves to see children succeed, we'd love to hear from you.
