Community Physiotherapist (General Rehab and Falls)Join to apply for the Community Physiotherapist (General Rehab and Falls) role at Whittington Health.To provide high quality effective Physiotherapy assessment and treatment/management programmes for adults presenting with rehab needs in the community in Haringey locality team; who require a domiciliary service or out-patient service. To use highly specialist Physiotherapy knowledge and skills to manage own complex caseload, as an autonomous practitioner.To act as a source of expertise on Physiotherapy management of adults in the community; providing advice to patients, carers, all grades of Physiotherapists, other health care professionals, consultants, general practitioners and social services.To support the use of evidence-based practice within the service, incorporating national guidelines e.g. NICE and NSF into practice.The post holder will provide supervision and mentoring to junior Physiotherapists and to assistants and students where necessary.The post holder will Lead and Manage Blue badge Mobility assessments and work closely with haringey parking services.CLINICALTo deliver patient care based on principles of best practice, achievable through direct patient contact or via supervision.To carry out specialist, comprehensive assessments of patients with a complex presentation, using investigative and analytical skills formulating individualised management and treatment plans.To work effectively with clients, their carers and colleagues around individual case management; setting client centred goals and ensuring all parties are working together to achieve the goals.To provide specialised Physiotherapy interventions at home or in a clinic setting as required, collaborating with colleagues in the community and secondary care health professionals to promote continuity of care.To ensure a timely response to functional changes or relapses.To provide specialist assessment for and provision of adaptive equipment such as specialist seating in line with national and local guidelines.Candidate ProfileRelevant experience and qualifications in physiotherapy, with demonstrated ability to manage complex caseloads, provide mentorship, and apply evidence-based practice.Key InformationSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Health Care ProviderIndustries: Hospitals and Health CareDiversity and InclusionWhittington Health serves a richly diverse population and works hard to ensure that all our services are fair and equally accessible to everyone.
