Are you an experienced and compassionate nurse looking to develop your skills in a specialist setting? We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join our dedicated Urology Outpatients Team, supporting patients undergoing Local Anaesthetic Transperineal (LATP) biopsies and flexible cystoscopy procedures.Youll be part of a forward-thinking multidisciplinary team committed to delivering safe, effective, and person-centred care. This role involves clinical support and patient coordination for urology diagnostic and treatment clinics, particularly LATP and flexible cystoscopy services. You will play a key role in maintaining patient dignity and comfort while assisting with minor surgical procedures and consultations.Main duties of the jobAssess, plan, deliver, and evaluate individualised nursing care for patients attending urology outpatient proceduresPrepare and manage clinical environments for LATP biopsies and flexible cystoscopiesAssist urologists with procedures, including patient positioning, local anaesthetic administration, and equipment handlingDeliver patient education and aftercare adviceEnsure effective infection prevention and control measuresAccurately document care delivered and contribute to quality improvementAbout us18 Week Support is the leading insourcing provider to the NHS, specialising in clinical demand, capacity management, and waiting list initiatives for both outpatients and day case surgery.
