POSITION: Year 5 Primary School Teacher Prospero Teaching is looking for a Year 5 Primary Teacher for a welcoming and inclusive Primary school in West Molesey, Surrey. The school is a popular two-form entry mainstream Primary School supported by a strong and approachable senior leadership team, the school continues to go from strength to strength, offering comprehensive training and development opportunities for all staff. The position is only open to qualified and experienced teachers. Depending on performance, the school have a view to extend the contract or offer a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location – West Molesey, Surrey Position – Year 5 Primary Teacher Type of work – Class Teacher – planning, preparation, marking, parents evenings etc Contract or position start date – 5th January 2026 Duration / Likely Duration – until end of the academic year July 2026 Contract or position end date – July 2026 with a view to extend to the end of academic year 2026/27 Contract type – Temporary Full time/part time – Part Time (4 days per week) Minimum rate of pay – Minimum rate GBP175 per day (depending on MPS) Hours – 8:00am – 16:00pm : Mon - Fri (term time only) EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS QTS or equivalent Minimum 1 year Key Stage 2 teaching experience in the UK Strong KS2 national curriculum knowledge Strong behaviour management Extensive SEN/EAL experience Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years OTHER If you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up to date CV.
