Sensory Panel Assistant Department: Sensory Employment Type: Permanent - Full Time Location: Brentford (UK) Reporting To: Olivia Miller Description Are you interested in working in sensory research with one of the world's top FMCG companies? Then join MMR as a Sensory Panel Assistant This is an exciting role where the Sensory Panel Assistant will have prime responsibility for supporting the management of one of MMR’s client dedicated panels. Location: Greater London Hours: 08:30am-17:00pm Key Responsibilities 👥 Assist the Sensory Panel Manager in all aspects of the running of the two Sensory Panels. 🌡 Prepare samples and materials for panel training and profiling. 📦 Research, source and manage products. 👨💻 Prepare panel profiling sessions using data acquisition software (on the job training will be provided). 🚿 Ensure the Sensory Panel working area is prepared appropriately for each session and cleared/cleaned after. 📋 Ensure that all activities carried out comply with basic food hygiene and health and safety standards. 💻 Assist in administrative duties (e.g. timesheets, scheduling, project and product logs in the lab notebook, updating the panel with logistic information, database). 🤝 Assist the Sensory Manager with other tasks as required and always promote a pleasant working environment for all Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Ability to communicate clearly and professionally. Demonstrate self-management and flexibility, coping with changing priorities. Strong attention to detail when carrying out sample procurement, preparation and storage, document preparation and data collection. Proactive and hands on, demonstrating initiative and working well with others. Competent using Microsoft Office. Lab/food service experience is desirable.
