QA Technician This role is working for a successful BRC AA Graded food manufacturer. The company produces high-quality food products and exceptional service - enabling their food manufacturing customers to innovate and increase productivity without compromising on quality. About the QA Technician job In this role, you will collaborate closely with the QA Supervisor and other departments to ensure the clients products and services meet agreed specifications, timelines, and the highest technical and quality standards. Your commitment will help maintain full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements while consistently delivering excellence. Key tasks Maintain accurate records of all quality paperwork received and/or returned from other Departments and ensure tasks (QA Matrix) and any other requested activities are completed within the designated timescales. Ensure that all quality and food safety systems are operated throughout all departments with full documentation and that they meet the requirements within the BRC Global Food standard and legislation. Assist with customer complaints: identify root causes and determine corrective actions required to prevent further complaints; ensure complaints are closed out as per company procedure. Develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers, external contacts and colleagues as well as preparing and assisting in customer visits and site technical audits where necessary. About You The successful candidate shall have proven experience of working in a Quality Assurance environment and ideally be educated to degree level in Food Science. In addition, HACCP and Food Safety qualifications are essential along with being PC literate as well as an excellent communicator at all levels, both written and verbally. More details The QA Technicianjob (ref:8980) pays£25,000 - £27,000according to your experience. The site is in Wigan, Greater Manchester and is commutable from Manchester, Bolton, Warrington, Preston, Ormskirk, St Helens, Chorley and Bury, along with other areas of Lancashire and Merseyside.
