We are on the lookout for a driven and detail-focused Cost Draftsperson to join the team.ResponsibilitiesPreparation of detailed bills of costs, costs schedules and costs estimates.Review of opponents points of dispute and preparation of replies.Preparation of costs budgets.Reviewing opponents costs budgets, preparing BDRs, Precedent Ts and entering into negotiations.Potential to attend CCMC hearings.Ensuring that the quality of work produced is to the highest standard.Management of daily workloads as well as achieving service level agreements.Be able to work to deadlines and prioritise matters to ensure targets are delivered.Ensuring that the Client is regularly updated as to the current situation on matters.Ensuring that care is taken to ensure good working relationships with internal colleagues.Being responsible for maximising the firm's profitability whilst maintaining the highest Client care standard.Adhering to the firms policies.Any other duties as reasonably required by the business.Essential Skills And ExperienceProven experience of drafting bills of costs and costs budgetsExperience of ProclaimExperience of Cost MasterOrganisational, planning and communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsGood general IT skillsTime managementAbility to use initiativeWorking effectively within a team.Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlinesWe reserve the right to close this role before the date specified depending on the calibre and volume of candidates.About Fletchers GroupFletchers is a fast-growing, dynamic law firm specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence law, with outstanding rankings in both The Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners.
