Overview Whitehouse Surgery is looking for a fully qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to join our multi‑disciplinary team, helping us to transform and modernise pathways of care, enabling the safe and effective sharing of skills across traditional professional boundaries. This is an exciting time to join the Group as we continue to grow and develop within the area. We are currently delivering care services in Milton Keynes from three different general practices: Whitehouse, Neath Hill and Brooklands, collectively known as OneMK PCN. Key Responsibilities The Advanced Clinical Practitioner will make autonomous decisions in the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of patients registered with our practices. You will have experience within a primary care setting and your high standards of patient care will naturally inspire those you work with. In addition to standard nursing duties, the ACP role is accountable in conjunction with the lead nurse for the clinical governance of the practice and is designed to provide clinical leadership in the practice, in order to ensure the safe, effective and compliant delivery of services to all patients. Team and Support You will be working with a great local team and will have the support of the wider NHS services leadership team and our support centre teams as well. You will work alongside a multi‑disciplinary team including GPs, practice nurses, wellbeing advisors, health coaches, physician associate, and more. Whitehouse Surgery is made up of GPs, Practice Nurses, Health Coaches, Pharmacists, Social Prescribers and Mental Health Workers, with further support from our PCN including First Contact Physiotherapists and Drugs/Alcohol Support in house.
