Lecturer in Business and Tourism – Leeds Company: GEDU Global Education Location: Leeds, England, United Kingdom Our Vision Changing lives through education. Role Summary We are currently seeking Lecturers to teach on our BSc (Hons) Business and Tourism Management programme. Due to our delivery model, we require flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and at weekends. This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Teaching Background Tourism Marketing Principles Strategic Management Entrepreneurship in Tourism Understanding Customers Essential Skills and Experience Honours degree and Master’s level in a relevant subject area and usually hold a PhD or have equivalent high level professional experience in the related discipline. Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol in a teaching programme during the probationary period and complete within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent) Previous lecturing experience for similar courses Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback Experience teaching in the wider subject area Experience with distance learning and supporting learners both online and face to face.
