Join to apply for the Relief Security Officer role at Corps Security. We are looking for a highly skilled SIA Licensed Security Officer to provide holiday and sickness cover. The role may develop into a fixed shift pattern where opportunities arise. Key Responsibilities Maintain overall surveillance of the site, carrying out regular patrols and recording these as per Corps and customer requirements. Ensure all visitors and contractors are correctly briefed, signed in and out of the site. Record the entry and exit of deliveries, including processing paperwork in line with site quality procedures. Carry out patrols to the correct standards and set/unset alarm systems for out‑of‑hours security where applicable. Comply with site waste management procedures. Complete documents such as daily occurrence logs, shift handovers, incident/accident records and any site‑specific reports. Review Assignment Instructions, Risk Assessments and other quality & safety documents; advise Corps Duty Manager or client personnel on any changes or recommendations. Maintain training records via the Corps Colleague Portal, especially first aid and fire marshal training, in accordance with legislative guidelines. Apply SIA skills at all times, displaying the licence and maintaining professionalism. Perform ad‑hoc duties as directed. Required Skills & Qualifications Excellent communication skills and a strong customer focus. Valid SIA Front‑Line Licence – essential. Valid SIA CCTV Licence – desirable. Confidence and ability to establish and maintain good working relationships at all levels. Ability to work to deadlines, multitask and work under pressure. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel). Full UK Driving Licence and own vehicle or reliable transport. Ability to achieve vetting to BS7858 standards.
