Grounds and Maintenance Assistant

About the Role The Grounds and Maintenance Assistant will support the maintenance and grounds teams to ensure the upkeep and appearance of the retreat, working part‑time on a permanent basis. Responsibilities Assist the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation. Respond to maintenance requests from guests on site. Assist with renovation projects and attend planned daily maintenance tasks. Complete any necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance. Assist the grounds team to ensure the appearance of the retreat is kept up to its five‑star standard. Assist with grass cutting and strimming, edging, weeding borders, and clearing pathways. Ensure the retreat is kept clear and free of debris. Works part‑time, permanent position: 24 hours across 3 variable days, including weekends and bank holidays. Hourly rate: £12.21. Qualifications Right to live and work in the UK. Positive work ethic with a willingness to learn new skills. Valid driving licence and ability to drive, necessary for use of site buggies/vehicles.
