Key Responsibilities Planning and delivering engaging, age‑appropriate activities in line with the EYFS curriculum. Creating a warm, safe, and inclusive environment that encourages children's learning and development. Supporting children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through meaningful interactions and play. Completing observations, assessments, and contributing to children's learning journeys to track their progress. Building strong, professional relationships with parents and carers, offering daily feedback and support. Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the room. Following safeguarding procedures, health & safety requirements, and nursery policies at all times. Contributing new ideas, creativity, and best practice to the team and wider nursery. About You We are looking for a warm, motivated, and passionate early years professional who is committed to delivering the highest standards of care. The ideal candidate will have: A Level 3 Early Years/Childcare qualification (essential). Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Experience working in a nursery or early years setting (desirable but not essential). A nurturing, positive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Good understanding of safeguarding, child protection, and health & safety. An Enhanced DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one).
