This new role has been created to help accelerate our growth further and faster, in response to increasing DC demand, by increasing team capability, capacity and established market connections.This is an excellent opportunity to join a winning team and help to take our DC business to the next level, working with some of the brightest, most innovative and forward-thinking organisations on the planet.As an Account Lead, you will take ownership for growing a stable portfolio of existing and new DC client accounts, providing the opportunity to support hyperscale, developer-operator and colocation clients – key accountabilities include:Delivering profitable and stable account growth across the UK, Europe & potentially globally, aligned to each client’s specific needsEstablishing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with existing and new clients, securing our position as trusted partnerAchieving exceptional client experience and positive outcomes across all aspects and locations of each portfolio client’s businessBringing the best of Arcadis to our clients, connecting and coordinating services across all aspects of our business, to create client specific and highly impactful value propositions that help our clients to overcome their most pressing challenges.Role accountabilitiesAccount Direction & Planning for GrowthDevelop and implement cross regional/global account strategies, aligned with Arcadis' market sector strategies and each client’s diverse business needs.Translate account strategies into actionable annual and multi-year account plans with clear objectives and measurable outcomes.Ensure alignment across geographies, solutions, and teams to deliver consistent value to the clientDelivering Sustainable GrowthDrive commercial growth in bookings and margin against annual targets.Expand Arcadis’ relationships across the client’s operations and key stakeholders across client locations.Creation and sharing of market insight, trends and thought leadership to support client relationship building and positioning.Creating client opportunities through regular engagement, innovation and collaboration with client teams.Directing and leading pursuits, maintaining above target win ratio.Creating Differentiated Value PropositionsCollaborate with Arcadis Solutions teams to create differentiated service offerings and value propositions tailored to the client’s needs.Prioritize client experience (CX) at every interaction, ensuring the client receives exceptional service and innovation.Develop and implement pursuit strategies for key opportunities with the client.Actively contribute to a positive, growth-oriented culture within the account team, emphasizing accountability and collaboration.Inspire multidisciplinary teams, aligning them around shared account objectives and supporting their professional growth.Mobilize talent across geographies and sectors to maximize impact, leveraging diverse perspectives and expertise.Collaborate with peers within Arcadis’ global sector teams to identify synergies and drive impactful initiatives.Market PositioningPosition Arcadis as a thought leader in the client’s sector, leveraging innovation, data and sustainability practices.Support marketing strategies (campaigns, events) to amplify Arcadis’ impact with the client.To perform the role effectively, there is required travel to different client offices and site locations in the UK, Europe and potentially wider. Potential key locations include UK, Nordics, Dublin, Benelux, and may also cover Germany, Italy, Spain and France, although locations may change over time to mirror the main focus of activity on each account. The right candidate should expect to spend time regularly at client Head Quarters, with travel to visit onsite project teams on a rotating basis.Qualifications & ExperienceThe successful candidate is likely to be in a DC / Technology Sector growth role today, who is looking for their next stretching challenge as a senior strategic leader within a modern, inclusive and agile global consultancy.Relevant Engineering, Technical or Business DegreeA background in design, engineering and program delivery consultancy services within the built asset context is essential.The successful candidate will have a growth mindset and be well connected in the DC market to enable them to hit the ground running and make an immediate positive impact.Deep Data Centre industry understanding, built through strong experience, coupled with proven growth and business development capabilityProven track record of developing and implementing sales strategies to grow regional / global client accounts profitably.Demonstrated ability to inspire multidisciplinary teams and foster collaboration across diverse geographies and functions.Ambitious mindset with a drive to meet and exceed business targets.Entrepreneurial attitude with strong commercial acumen and strategic focus.Experience as a senior client leader with significant presence in the technology sector, i.e. e-commerce, cloud computing, artificial intelligence.Ability to navigate complex organizations and build mutually beneficial lasting relationships across the client’s operational and leadership teams.Strong ability to position Arcadis as a trusted advisor and partner through innovative and sustainable solutions.Experience working internationally, across industries, business lines, and functions, managing projects with global impact.Ability to leverage data-driven decision-making and adopt emerging technologies to create and demonstrate value for the client.Experience attracting, developing, and mobilizing talent in diverse markets, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.Why Arcadis?We can only achieve our goals when everyone is empowered to be their best.
