You’ll be part of a small, supportive kitchen team delivering freshly prepared meals for service personnel, maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation. Key Responsibilities Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Maintain excellent food hygiene, safety, and allergen control standards Support kitchen operations and assist senior chefs during service Help with stock control, menu input, and day-to-day kitchen organisation Work collaboratively within a small team to deliver a consistent, positive dining experience What We’re Looking For Previous experience essential in a professional kitchen or similar environment Qualifications desirable (City & Guilds/NVQ or equivalent) Passion for great food and high standards Good communication and teamwork skills Flexible and reliable, able to work a mix of early and late shifts About Us Part of Compass Group UK & I, ESS is the Defence, Government, and Energy services sector of Compass Group UK & Ireland.
