Advance Your Career: Systems Technician (Cars) Role at Mercedes-Benz of Brooklands As a Systems Technician with Mercedes-Benz of Brooklands, you will deliver the highest standards in electronic diagnostics, fault finding, and advanced car system repairs. You'll use manufacturer-approved processes and state-of-the-art equipment, working alongside expert colleagues in our modern, fully equipped facility.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose electronic and mechanical faults in Mercedes-Benz passenger vehicles using brand-approved diagnostic equipmentCarry out repairs and maintenance to manufacturer standards, ensuring optimal vehicle performance and safetyConduct detailed testing, coding, and calibration of modern vehicle systems, including ADAS, infotainment, hybrid/electric powertrains, and moreDocument technical findings, completed work, and parts usage accurately in the dealership management systemCollaborate with service advisors and front-of-house staff to explain complex technical issues and repairs in clear, accessible languageKeep up to date with Mercedes-Benz technical bulletins, training, and new technology rolloutsUphold all workshop health and safety and compliance standardsQualificationsExperience in diagnosing and repairing modern automotive electrical and electronic systemsKeen analytical ability and a logical approach to problem-solvingRelevant technical qualifications (IMI, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance)Ability to follow manufacturer instructions and use diagnostic tools effectivelyStrong commitment to delivering quality workmanship and customer satisfactionAdaptable, reliable, and eager to keep pace with the latest technologies and vehicle systemsExcellent teamwork and collaboration skills within a dealership workshopFull UK driving licenceBenefitsCompetitive salary package, according to skills and experience25 days annual leave plus recognised UK bank holidaysComprehensive pension scheme and life assurance benefitsOngoing manufacturer training, including Mercedes-Benz systems accreditationEmployee Assistance Programme and wellbeing supportStaff discounts on Mercedes-Benz products, servicing, and partner retailersClear pathways for further progression into specialism and Master Technician roles #J-18808-Ljbffr
