We are seeking a skilled and motivated Interim Events Manager to join our team on a maternity cover basis. This is a senior, hands‑on role offering the opportunity to lead the delivery of our diverse portfolio of educational events, including thought leadership initiatives planned for 2026. You’ll be instrumental in driving strategic alignment and commercialisation across our projects, ensuring every event reflects our commitment to excellence. Key Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end planning and delivery of Educate by Medica’s live and virtual radiology events Manage all logistical aspects, from concept development to post‑event evaluation Ensure events meet high professional standards and align with brand and organisational goals Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and operational plans Collaborate with internal teams, clinical speakers, and external partners Build strong relationships with sponsors, venues, suppliers, and delegates Coordinate speaker and delegate communications and materials Support the development of new event formats and commercial initiatives Contribute to strategic planning for future events, including roundtables and thought leadership Work closely with marketing, commercial, and clinical teams to ensure event alignment Champion continuous improvement in event delivery and delegate experience Monitor performance metrics and provide insights for optimisation Ensure compliance with health and safety, data protection, and regulatory standards Maintain accurate documentation including budgets, contracts, and feedback reports About You We’re looking for someone who has: Consistent, demonstrable Events Management experience throughout your career, including roundtable discussions, educational events, B2B and B2C in a highly professional and busy environment Ability to provide real‑life examples of your event delivery experience Confidence in managing pressurised situations and multiple priorities 3+ years’ experience in event management (B2B focus preferred) Strong project management and organisational skills Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities Experience in both virtual and in‑person event formats Budget management expertise and attention to detail Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools Tech‑savvy, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools Desirable Experience with CPD‑accredited or healthcare education events Familiarity with platforms like Zoom Background in commercial or international education settings Who We Are Medica is the UK’s largest telemedicine provider, supporting over 50% of NHS trusts and delivering specialist reporting globally.
