Job Title: Deputy Home Manager – Permanent
Location: Fulham
Salary: £64,000 - £66,000

Job Overview:
Purosearch have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to join a new Luxury home in Fulham. This is a small home overseeing care for elderly, dementia and nursing care.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day supervision and management of the home, ensuring quality and clinical governance adherence and CQC compliance.
  2. Ensure the delivery of an exceptional care experience for every resident.
  3. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of CQC standards/frameworks.
  4. Assist with the admissions process, ensuring informed decisions regarding the suitability of potential residents.
  5. Monitor individual care plans, ensuring regular reviews and updates.
  6. Support Team Members in updating care plans and conducting regular care plan audits.
  7. Ensure care plans are individualised and inclusive of all resident needs.
  8. Oversee medicine management and conduct medication competency checks on Team Members.
  9. Act as a role model, supporting, managing, coaching, and developing the team.
  10. Provide leadership across the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  11. Lead shifts, ensuring safe staffing ratios and skill mix are maintained.
About You:
  1. Previous Deputy Manager experience within a residential/nursing care home environment.
  2. A minimum of three years' experience in a supervisory role in a similar setting.
  3. Ability to lead, supervise, motivate, and manage a large team of staff.
  4. Good understanding of CQC Fundamental Standards and promoting Person Centred Care.
  5. Organised with strong communication and influencing skills, approachable manner, and attention to detail.
  6. Willingness to work towards a Level 5 Diploma in Management and Leadership in Health and Social Care.
