SAP Business Intelligence Specialist

SAP BI & Analytics Specialist Innospec are seeking an experienced SAP BI & Analytics Specialist to help maintain, develop and support our reporting and analytics solutions across SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support corporate BW reporting and analytics solutions including SAP BW/4HANA and SAP Analytics Cloud using accepted best practices based on business requirements. Develop, enhance, and maintain data models in SAP BW/4HANA, including InfoObjects, ADSOs, Composite Providers, Open ODS Views and Calculation Views, CDS Views. Design and implement SAC stories and dashboards to support business requirements across departments (e.g., Finance, Sales, Operations). Employ technical, analytical and customer service skills to specify, design, implement, test, deploy and maintain SAP BW based solutions that support business intelligence requirements. Optimize performance of queries and dashboards for a smooth end‑user experience. Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across SAP BW and SAC environments. Support the development, exploitation and evolution of the Innospec BW and SAP Analytics Cloud platforms. Provide guidance across the stakeholder community to ensure all solutions are fit for purpose and deliver business value. Ensure the delivery of consistent, well documented and supportable reporting and analytics solutions. Work on your own initiative, handling competing demands and meet tight deadlines on various projects. Work with the Reporting & Analytics Manager to promote a culture of data literacy and strong governance across all Innospec’s global sites. Monitor and manage job schedules for data extraction and provide fixes for any failed schedules/jobs, create and deploy custom extractors and support and maintain process chain monitoring. Requirements Proven expertise in Business Intelligence at an advanced level (SFIA level 3/4 equivalent). Strong experience in data visualization with the ability to present complex data in actionable formats (SFIA level 3/4 equivalent). Hands‑on experience with SAP BW (3+ years). Demonstrable understanding of BI best practices. Articulate and fluent communicator with a high level of written English, the ability to present complex information in plain, understandable language. Data modelling and design using SAP BW Tools (SFIA level 3/4 equivalent). Degree in Business Administration, Analytics or a scientific discipline. A pragmatic approach to problem solving with the ability to think quickly and deliver against strict deadlines, while often working on several issues simultaneously. Experience in SAP Business Warehouse (BW) data modelling, SAP Data Extraction processes, SAP Process Chains, and SAP Analysis for Office. Strong time management and excellent organisational skills.
