Class 1 Experienced Tramper Driver – Rochester Position by Stronghold Logistics Ltd. This role requires you to drive freight safely, provide excellent customer service, and work positively with a team. No loading or unloading duties. Safely collect and deliver goods while meeting company and client expectations. Accurately complete all required documentation online. Keep vehicles, equipment, and assets clean, tidy, and secure. Submit tachograph records in line with legislation. Represent the company professionally and provide excellent customer service. Operate company vehicles responsibly, following road and safety regulations. Report accidents, breakdowns, or emergencies promptly. Adhere to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Follow Health, Safety, and Environmental guidelines. Act according to the Driver’s Handbook and company values. Qualifications & Criteria Current clean driving licence (HGV / C / C+E) with less than 6 penalty points. Valid Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC), no suspensions or revokes. Digital Tachograph / Smart Card possession. Legal right to work in the UK. Strong communication skills. Proactive, positive attitude, self‑managed workload. Willingness to undergo background check and drug/alcohol screening.
